Let’s try to find together some answers to the most common doubts and misconceptions about vaping, it’s time for our myth-busting!

IS VAPING DIFFERENT FROM SMOKING?

No smoke odour: e-cigarettes contain e-liquid which has different ingredients compared to cigarette ingredients, therefore the vapour produced by an e-cigarette has a different smell from the smoke one.

No ash: a cigarette is combusted which produces ash after use, whereas an e-cigarette does not combust, therefore no ash is produced.

No smoker’s breath: as e-liquid contains different ingredients to a conventional cigarette, an e-cigarette user’s breath would smell different to a smoker’s breath.

No tobacco: e-cigarettes do not contain real tobacco to heat or combust instead an e-liquid which is vaporized.

IS THERE NO RESEARCH BEHIND VAPING?

Vuse take product quality and safety extremely seriously and that’s why we have ‘quality’ as a brand pillar. Each product (device and e-liquids) undergoes hundreds of hours of testing (safety, design verification, compliance, and performance) before it reaches the consumer.

We conduct a toxicological risk assessment of all the ingredients in e-liquids, device components and emissions from, our products, because we believe that research and testing are the best ways to ensure the highest quality and safety.

ARE E-CIGARETTES UNREGULATED AND WE DON'T KNOW WHAT'S IN THEM?

Vuse closed system devices are submitted for electrical device safety testing using the IECEE CB Scheme. IECEE CB Scheme is an internationally recognized conformity assessment scheme for mutual acceptance of test reports and certificates dealing with the safety of electrical and electronic components, equipment, and products. All Vuse products are tested at Labstat International Inc, which has been accredited by the Standards Council of Canada to International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017* "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories".

Moreover, our products are all evaluated and certified by independent test laboratories and test certification is recorded in an online database.
