Once you’ve decided to start vaping, you’re likely to have a lot of questions. Don’t panic! In order to help, we have created this Beginner’s Guide to Vaping.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BUY TO START VAPING?
If you’re accustomed to cigarettes, vaping can seem more like buying a new piece of technology. Some people are intimidated by the prospect of buying their first device as they get to grips with how e-cigarettes work. It can feel like there are a lot of unfamiliar components and terms to deal with, compared to more familiar items like phones or laptops.
Closed system devices like our ePod and ePen devices remove some of these barriers offering a simpler way for you to vape. The e-liquid is contained in a 'pod' that is simply attached to the device and can be puffed immediately. Changing flavours is simply a matter of swapping one pod for another. To start vaping with our ePod and ePen, you will need two things: a vaping device (also known as a pod-mod or vape pen) and a flavour pod. You can also try our Vuse GO pre-filled disposable device which is designed for single use and is non rechargeable.

YOUR FIRST FEW VAPES
If you’ve only ever smoked cigarettes up until now, your first few draws on your new vape might be a surprise, because you do it in a different way and it is likely to feel different at first. With cigarettes, you just take a quick puff but with vaping, you can inhale for a lot longer (although you shouldn’t feel that you need to in order to get a similar sense of satisfaction). If you have recently taken up vaping, you may want to start by taking smaller, shorter, faster puffs with at least a 20 second interval to get used to the sensation of vaping. These will be more diluted with air and therefore give you a smoother experience.

HOW LONG WILL THE BATTERY LAST?
One of the main ways in which vape pens differ from cigarettes is that they are battery operated. The first time you go out with your vape pen you may ask yourself: how long will the battery last? A fully charged ePod for example will last a full day, based on typical usage. You don’t want to find that it runs out of charge whilst you’re on the move, so it’s a good idea to take a portable charger with you, enabling you to use the device wherever you are.

This is totally down to you and your personal consumption. For rechargeable closed systems, our ePod eLiquid pod offers up to 950 puffs per pod* and our ePen eLiquid pods Up to 750 puffs per pod**. FIRST FEW DAYS FOR VAPING BEGINNERS
In the first few days, you’ll start to consider when you want to vape. Many people find that the rhythm of ‘smoking breaks’ still works for them and take breaks in the day. Others prefer to graze, taking occasional vapes throughout the day.
