HOW TO RESPONSIBLY DISPOSE OF VAPE DEVICES AND PODS

You can send used Vuse disposable vapes, including Vuse GO or GO XL, and Vuse GO Edition 1000, 5000 or 8000 devices, back to us through our Take Back program. We’ll dispose of them responsibly, so there’s no need to worry about where they end up.

Do you vape with a Vuse rechargeable device, like a Vuse PRO Smart or Vuse ePod? You can send it back to us for responsible disposal through our Take Back program.

Place your used devices and Vuse pods in separate bags (very important!) and send them back to us for responsible disposal through our Take Back program. Let's take a closer look at our Take Back process below.

When you vape with Vuse, responsible vape disposal is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

1. Enjoy it

Use your Vuse vapes, including rechargeable devices, disposable vapes and pods, as you normally would.

2. Bag it

Place your empty Vuse products into a collection bag to be picked up from your nearest participating location. Pods and devices must be placed in separate bags.

3. Return it

Take the bag to your nearest participating location. You can find your nearest drop-off point here.

Once you give us back your used Vuse vapes and parts, we’ll dispose of them responsibly. Here’s what happens:

1. Transportation – Vuse products are transported to our supplier’s recycling facility.
2. Waste-to-energy – Plastic elements from the pods/nicotine chambers are incinerated and converted into energy.
3. Battery recycling – The lithium-ion battery is dismantled and sent to the downstream facility.
4. Raw material production – Collected commodity metal is transformed into raw material to manufacture new products.
5. Reusing e-liquid as fuel – Any collected e-liquid is blended with flammable fluids and used as fuel in cement production.

Only Vuse vapes can be safely disposed of through our Take Back program. However, there may still be options. Consider these Do’s and Don’ts:

• Don’t – Dispose of your used vaping device in the trash or in your blue bin
• Do – Contact your council directly or check their website for information about if and where they may collect used vapes and parts
• Do – Check with your local recycling center to see if they have bins for electricals and batteries and ask if they can accept used vapes this way
