Vuse Pass uses palm vein scanning technology. It’s an innovative biometric process that relies on the unique vein patterns in your palm to verify your identity accurately and securely. The authentication process is secure, quick and convenient. It is also a great solution for age verification.
Here’s how it works;
- First, the biometric scanning device captures an image of your palm.
- Then, the image is encrypted into binary data.
- Next, the encrypted data is transferred to a secure database and encrypted using a client-specific key.
Finally, the client key is linked with your Vuse account.
QUICK AND EASY ENROLMENT
The Vuse Pass enrolment process is as easy as 1-2-3.
To opt-in:
- Create a vuse.com account.
- While in store, log in to your Vuse account and choose to enrol in Vuse Pass.
- Scan your palm.
- Access our Vuse stores with frictionless authentication.
The process takes less than a minute, and you won’t have to touch any surface to scan your palm. Once the enrolment process is complete, you will no longer need to show your ID to enter participating Vuse Vape stores in Canada. Instead, simply scan your palm and enter.
You can opt out of Vuse Pass any time by logging in to your Vuse account or telling a staff member that you wish to opt out of Vuse Pass, and we will delete your information from the database immediately. If you ever want to opt in again, simply re-start the enrolment process.
